NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises hereinafter set forth, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. VEHICLE
The Company hereby handover to the Sub-Contractor, and the Sub-Contractor hereby takes over from The Company, the described Motorcar (the “Vehicle”) according to booking:
2. TERM
The term of this Contract shall commence according to the booking. Any termination follows the refund policy as stated in the booking details.
In event of any uncompleted contract, the Sub-contractor shall be liable for a penalty of 30% of the remaining contract value or $10000 whichever is higher for the remaining unfulfilled contractual term and notice period. However, the company reserves the right to replace the vehicle with an equivalent category or repossess the vehicle with immediate effect due to operational/technical issues e.g. car conditions, de-registration, etc.
JOB FULFILMENT The Sub–Contractor shall pay an agreed rental fee according to the booking to The Company.
3. USE
The Sub-contractor is responsible for the usage of the car and ONLY the authorized Sub-Contractor can use the vehicle and shall use the Vehicle in a careful and proper manner and shall comply with to all national, state, municipal, police and other laws, ordinances and regulations in any regulations in any way relating to the possession, use or maintenance of the Vehicle.

5. SECURITY DEPOSIT
Security deposit follow the booking details.
6. REPAIRS
The Sub-Contractor shall upkeep the Vehicle in good daily working condition e.g. engine oil level, tyre, etc and shall furnish any and all parts, mechanisms and devices required to keep the Vehicle in good mechanical working order. Payment for authorized repairs, wear and tear will be liable by The Company.
7. ACCIDENT
a) Only the authorized Sub-Contractor stated in this contract will be covered by the company insurance.
b) The Sub-Contractor shall pay the Company
- (a) SGD$2000 (subject to prevailing GST) for own vehicle damage AND
- (b) SGD$2500 (subject to prevailing GST) for third party claims upon reporting of the accident to the Company. This amount covers the losses incurred by the Company which includes repairs, administrative charges, towing, insurance excess and penalty imposed by insurance company on future premiums. Windscreen damage is fixed at SGD$300.
c) For travelling to Malaysia, the Sub-Contractor shall pay the Company
- (a) SGD$4000 (subject to prevailing GST) for own vehicle damage AND
- (b) SGD$5000 (subject to prevailing GST) for third party claims upon reporting of the accident to the Company. This amount covers the losses incurred by the Company which includes repairs, administrative charges, insurance excess and penalty imposed by insurance company on future premiums. Windscreen damage is fixed at SGD$600. This policy provides cover for any accident, loss, damage or legal responsibility arising within the West Malaysia (optional).
d) It is required by law that each and every accident that if there is bodily injury, or an accident involving a government vehicle, a foreign vehicle, cyclist or pedestrian or damage to government property, vehicle stolen or vandalized, Sub-Contractor must file a police report within 24 hours and original copy of the accident report must be submitted to the Company’s office by the next business day.
e) In the event of an accident, the Sub-Contractor shall:
- Obtain vehicle registration numbers, photographs, names and addresses of the parties involved and of witnesses;
- Not admit fault or liability;
- Not abandoning the vehicle without adequate provision for safeguarding and securing the same; and
- Notify the Company immediately
f) Excess is double for named drivers below 22 years old and below 2 years driving experience.
g) In event, any claims not covered by insurance due to unlawful actions, racing, drugs etc, non-license driving, the sub-contractor the full repair and any third party liability cost to the company.
8. MALAYSIA USAGE
In the event of any breakdown of vehicle outside the Republic of Singapore, it is the Sub–Contractor’s sole responsibility to tow back the vehicle to the Republic of Singapore at the Sub-Contractor‘s own expense. All Malaysia usage has to be authorized by the Company and will be at Sub–Contractor’s own risk.
9. LOSS AND DAMAGES
a) Sub-Contractor hereby assumes and shall bear the entire risk of loss, theft, destruction and damage to the Vehicle from any and every cause or whatsoever, whether or not covered by insurance. No loss or damage to the vehicle or any part thereof shall impair any obligation of Sub-Contractor under this Contract which shall continue in full force and effect throughout the entire term of the Contract.
b) In the event of loss or damage of any kind whatever to the vehicle, the Sub-Contractor shall, at The Company’s sole discretion:
- Place the same in good repair, condition and working order; or
- Replace the same with like Vehicle in good repair, condition and working order; or
- Pay to The Company the replacement cost of the Vehicle.
10. BREAKDOWN & TYRE PUNCTURE
For any breakdowns, please contact our 24-Hour Recovery team @ (6303 0550) and the team will attend to the breakdown within 2 hours. If breakdown cannot be rectified on spot, vehicle will be towed back to our in-house workshop at no additional surcharge. Any event resulting in the breakdown of the vehicle due to the Sub-Contractor 's negligence or wilful act or omission will be chargeable, e.g. empty fuel tank, battery flat due to never off headlight, key lock inside the Vehicle etc. For punctured tyres, Sub-Contractor‘s have to change to the provided spare tyre, or use the in car repair kit. 24-Hours on-site tyre patching / spare tyre loan service is available at Sub-Contractor own cost of $50-$200 depending on damage and timing.
11. SURRENDER & DEPOSIT REFUND
Upon the expiration of the minimum rental period, Sub-Contractor shall inform the Company 7 days in advance and return the vehicle to The Company in good repair, condition and working order, ordinary wear and tear resulting from proper use thereof alone excepted, by delivery the vehicle at Sub-Contractor‘s cost and expenses to such place as The Company shall specify within the city or country in which the same was delivered to Sub-Contractor. Deposit will be refunded to Sub-Contractor‘s indicated bank account within 7 working days if there is no outstanding with the company.
12. FILING
Sub-Contractor, on request, agrees to execute any instrument necessary to the filing and recording of this Contract agreement or the Vehicle. Sub-Contractor further appoints The Company as its true and lawful attorney to prepare, execute, and sign any and all security agreements, financing statements, or otherwise, in order to effectuate a lien on the property subject to this Contract, and to sign the name of Sub-Contractor with the same force and effect as if signed by Sub-Contractor, and to file such instruments at the proper location or locations.
13. LOCATION AND MAINTENANCE
At Sub-Contractor‘s own risk, Sub-Contractor shall use or permit the use of the vehicle solely at location specified in this Contract, or if none is specified, at Sub-Contractor ‘s billing address set forth above and such vehicle shall not be moved without The Company’s prior written consent. The Sub-Contractor, at Sub-Contractor‘s expense, shall maintain the vehicle in good repair, condition and functional order, shall not use the vehicle unlawfully, and shall not alter/modify the vehicle. The Company shall not be liable for loss of profit or other consequential damages resulting from the theft, destruction, or disrepair of the vehicle and there shall be no abatement of Contract payments on account of any such theft, destruction, or disrepair.
14. VEHICLE SERVICING
It is the responsibility of the Sub-Contractor to send the vehicle for servicing before the deadline given by the company. At no circumstances should the Sub-Contractor drives the car exceeding the mileage/date mentioned on the vehicle servicing label on the windscreen. The Sub-Contractor is liable to a penalty of SGD$500 in breach of the vehicle servicing clause.
15. TITLE & PERSONAL PROPERTY
The Vehicle is, and shall at all times remain, property of The Company, and The Sub-Contractor shall have no right, title, or interest except as expressly set forth in this Contract. The vehicle is and shall at all times be and remain personal property although the vehicle or any part of it may now be or hereafter become in any manner affixed or attached to real property or any improvements. All authorized modifications, additions or improvements to the vehicle or any kind or nature made by the Sub Contractor shall become component parts of the vehicle and title shall immediately vest in the Company and be governed by the terms of this Contract.
16. INDEMNITY
The Sub-Contractor shall indemnify The Company against, and hold The Company harmless from, any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, arising out of, connected with, or resulting from the Sub-Contractor ‘s use of the vehicle, including without limitation the manufacture, selection, delivery, possession, use, or return of the vehicle.
17. DEFAULT
If the Sub-Contractor fails to fulfil provided within THREE (03) DAYS after the sum is due and payable, or if the Sub Contractor fails to provide proof of payments, observe, keep or perform any other provision of this Contract required to be observed, kept or performed by The Sub-Contractor, The Company shall have the right to exercise any one or more of the following remedies:
(a) Impose a weekly late fee of $50 on the outstanding amount.
(b) Forfeiture of any security deposit, which will not be used to offset any outstanding payment.
(c) Declare the entire payable amount of hereunder immediately due and payable without notice or demand to Sub-Contractor.
(d) Recover whatever amount due to the company. The Sub-contractor shall be liable to any and all costs and damages occasioned by such debt recovery which include but not limited to the followings:
- Deduct any other monies held by the company.
- Direct and indirect costs relating to legal fees and services e.g lawyer charges, court fee.
- Direct and indirect costs relating to debt collection process e.g. debt collection agencies’ charges.
(e) Take possession of the Vehicle, without demand and notice, wherever same may be located, without any court order or other process of law. The Sub-Contractor shall be liable to any and all costs and damages occasioned by such taking of possession, which include but not limited to the followings:
- Repossession towing charge of $500.
- Replacement of car key $1000 (petrol cars) / $2000 (hybrid cars) if the original key is not surrender to the company within 3 calendar days upon repossession of the vehicle.
- The Sub-contractor shall be liable for rental due for the remaining unfulfilled contractual term and notice period. Terminate this contract with immediate effect.
(f) Sue for and recover all rents, loss of future rental, and other payments, then accrued or thereafter accruing.
(g) To pursue any other remedy at law or in equity.
Notwithstanding any repossession or any other action which The Company may take, The Sub-Contractor shall be and remain liable for the full performance of all obligations on the part of the Sub-Contractor to be performed under this Contract. All the Company’s remedies are cumulative and may be exercised concurrently or separately.
18. BANKRUPTCY
Neither this Contract nor any interest therein is assignable or transferable by operation of law. If any proceeding under this Bankruptcy Act, as amended, is commenced by or against the Sub-Contractor, or if the Sub-Contractor is adjudged insolvent, or if Sub-Contractor makes any assignment for the benefit of his creditors, or if a writ of attachment or execution is levied on the Vehicle and is not re-contract or satisfied within FIVE (05) days thereafter, or if a receiver is appointed in any proceeding or action to which the Sub-Contractor is a party with authority to take possession or control of the Vehicle, The Company shall have and may exercise any one or more of the remedies set forth in Section 14 & 16 hereof; and this Contract shall, at the option of The Company, without notice, immediately terminate and shall not be treated as an asset of The Sub-Contractor after the exercise of said option.
19. OWNERSHIP
The vehicle is, and shall at all times be and remain, the sole and exclusive property of The Company; and the Sub Contractor shall have no right, title or interest therein or thereto except as expressly set forth in this Contract.
20. NOTICES
Service of all notices under this Agreement shall be sufficient if given personally or mailed certified, return receipt requested, postage prepaid, at the address hereinafter set forth, or to such address as such party may provide in writing from time to time.

21. GOVERNING LAW
This contract shall be construed and enforced according to laws of the State of SINGAPORE.
22. HEADINGS
Headings used in this Contract are provided for convenience only and shall not be used to construe meaning or intent.
23. TRAFFIC OFFENCE & SUMMONS*
The Sub-Contractor shall be fully liable for all traffic offenses and summons made under the vehicle during the validity of this contract. The Company may at its sole discretion deduct Traffic and Summon fines from any monies held by the company.
24. RETURNING/COLLECTION OF VEHICLES
Collection of vehicles is from 1pm to 3pm, Monday to Friday, or at company’s discrete. The timing of returning the vehicle is strictly from 10am to 12noon only, Monday to Friday. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. There will be an SGD $10/HR penalty charge for late return, maximum 3 hours. Any vehicle to be return after 3pm will be charged as a full day rental.
25. RESPONSIBILITY
This contract is strictly between the Sub-Contractor and RELIABLE.SG PTE LTD ONLY. Under no circumstances should the Sub-Contractor be waived of his responsibility set in this contract even if there is an additional driver.

27. Caltex Fuel Discount Eligibility
In order to continuously enjoy the Caltex fuel discount, Sub-Contractor is required to fulfilled a minimum of 1 trip on Grab platform.
28. Rental waivers
There will be waiver of 0.5 day rental waiver for any servicing / maintenance that requires more than 4 hours and a 1 Day rental waiver that that requires more than 8 hours.
29. Collision Damage Waiver
If required, Sub-Contractor can purchase our in house CDW @ $5 / Day. Advance payment for this program. Excess will be reduced to $500 (subject to prevailing GST) per section.
30. Spray Painting
For any car returned that required spray painting repairs; our partner workshop is charging $200 per damaged panel and $1200 for the entire car respray not inclusive of damaged parts that needs to be replaced.
31. Medical Exception
In the event the Sub-Contractor provides a valid medical certificate from a licensed physician stating the Sub Contractor is unfit to drive for a period of six (6) months or longer, the Company shall have the right to terminate this Agreement and take possession of the leased vehicle. As a gesture of goodwill, the Company will waive the breach of contract penalty ONLY. However, the security deposit will be forfeited.
32. Transfer of Rental Agreement
The Sub-Contractor may request to transfer this Rental Agreement to another individual (the "Transferee") upon providing written notice to the Company. The Company reserves the right to approve or deny the transfer request at its sole discretion.
If the Company approves the transfer request, the Hirer shall pay a one-time administrative fee of Three Hundred Dollars ($300) (subject to prevailing GST) to the Company. The transfer of the Rental Agreement shall be subject to all other terms and conditions of the Agreement, including but not limited to the Transferee's acceptance of the terms and conditions and the Company's approval of the Transferee's creditworthiness.
33. PDPA
The personal data belonging to you may be disclosed: To any regulatory, government and statutory body to comply with applicable, laws or regulation or upon their valid request. You agree that we may also collect, use and disclose your personal data, which you have provided in this form, for providing you with our company’s latest marketing materials, car rental offers and other related programs.
34. ENTIRE AGREEMENT*
This instrument constitutes the entire agreement between The Company and The Sub-Contractor and is irrevocable for its term and for the aggregate rentals reserved above, and it shall not be amended, altered, or changed except by written agreement signed by parties. The Sub-Contractor shall provide The Company with such corporate resolutions, opinions of counsel, financial statements, and other documents as The Company shall request from time to time. If more than one Sub-Contractor is named in this Contract the liability shall be joint and several. Time is the essence of this Contract. Any failure of The Company to require such strict performance by The Sub-Contractor or any waiver by The Company of any provision of The Contract shall not be construed as a consent or wavier of any other breach of the same or any other provision. If any portion of this Contract is deemed to be invalid, it shall not affect the rest of this agreement. The Sub-Contractor applies to The Company for a Contract of the above-described property for commercial purposes and agrees that this Contract is not to be construed as a consumer contract. If The Company accepts by executing the Contract below, The Sub-Contractor agrees to rent from The Company and The Company agrees to rent to the Sub Contractor, the vehicle, on all of the terms and conditions of this Contract.
